Delegate survey

A month after the conference we asked all delegates to complete a feedback survey.

Of the 109 people we mailed, 43 responded.

Their responses were as follows:

• Were you happy with the registration process and pre-conference communications?
  • Yes: 100%
• What did you think to the refreshments?
  • I really enjoyed them: 67%
  • They were ok – as expected: 31%
  • Coulda been better: 0%
  • A real disappointment: 2%
• Please comment on the variety of the sessions:
  • Plenty of choice and I liked it: 57%
  • Not enough choice: 0%
  • Too much choice – I’d rather have fewer options: 7%
  • Too much choice, but don’t change that!: 36%
• Now please give us feedback on the content of sessions:
  • I enjoyed and found value in the sessions on offer: 67%
  • I enjoyed the sessions but didn’t gain much: 5%
  • I didn’t really get much from the sessions: 2%
  • It was brilliant – I’d do it all again: 26%

• Has Photocamp changed your life?
  • Yes – my photography has noticably moved forward as a result: 14%
  • I’ve learnt some new stuff/advanced a bit: 71%
  • Not learnt much, but made new contacts: 14%
  • Ok… but not sure I’ve gained much: 0%

• Did we cost you cash?
  • Yes, I was tempted and bought something: 38%
  • I was tempted – but haven’t yet bought it: 38%
  • No, not tempted to buy a new toy!: 24%
• Prize time…
  39% opted for the prize, 61% for a donation to charity – so I’ve chosen to be democratic.
  We have donated 50p for each response to Charity:Water (due to £:$ fluctuations we actually gave £22.03)
